Glossary of Terms

  • Addressable Audience Curation: Custom audience of address-level targeting based on geographic, demographic factors. Users are targeted at the household level across all devices.
  • Advertiser Site Retargeting: Campaign retargets users who have visited the advertiser's website.
  • Dashboard: A summary report of how your digital campaigns are performing that updates either in real-time or nightly, depending on the platform. We recommend that you bookmark your dashboard links so that you can reference them whenever you like.
  • Device ID Targeting: We can get a list of phone device IDs that visited any address within the last 365 days, put them in an audience and target them. 
  • Event Fencing: Draw a geofence around a specific location during a specific date and time to serve ads to people during the event. An event must be more than 8-hours long for this tactic to be effective. Also called Micro Proximity fencing.
  • Event Targeting: Gathers an audience of people who attended an event and remarkets to them. This tactic is for serving impressions to people after immediately following an event.
  • Foot Traffic Conversion: User is served an ad then physically visits a conversion zone (typically client's physical location). User may or may not have clicked on the ad.
  • Geo-Addressable Fencing: Audience of individual household addresses created by uploading a list of addresses to our ad buying platform.
  • Geo-Fence: A virtual boundary drawn on a map capturing users at a specific location and retargeting them after they leave. Accurate to within 1 square meter of the address boundaries.
  • Search Retargeting: Retargeting users based on the keyword searches they perform across the web. Also known as Keyword Retargeting.
  • Streaming TV: Video delivered over an IP platform, app, or device. Its estimated that over 70% of Americans have "cut the cord" and watch all television through a streaming platform or app.
  • Website Conversion: User is served an ad and then returns to advertiser's website. Users may or may not have clicked on the ad.
  • Website Retargeting: Campaign retargets users who have visited the client's website. A pixel will be provided to the client to install on their website, retargeting visitors to return.
